Self
analysis identifies the strengths and weaknesses of an individual,
helps in improving his/ her abilities. It includes the identification
of the event, consequences, beliefs, new change, and dispute
of the beliefs and in the end the formulation of the plan. Self
analysis methods introduce a contrast between the capability
required by the organization and possessed by you. On the basis
of this analysis one can make adjustments according to the environment.
Ability
to take responsibility and fulfill it within the time and to
make decisions within the functional organization’s policies
and procedures. You can never know where a road will lead you
until you take it. The only thing you have power over is the
decisions that you will make, and how you act and react to different
situations. There are no guarantees that your decisions will
always be right, but you must accept responsibility for them.
Failing to take a decision is avoidance of risk or fear of making
a mistake.
Self humor can
prove to be a beneficial driving force in the transformation of the environment.
It helps in developing the team spirit and also reduces the fatigue of
the workers which enhances their efficiency. A powerful way of learning
about and healing our wounded self is to be able to see our protective,
controlling behavior with humor. You will discover that you will make
rapid progress in healing your wounded self when you can laugh at yourself
rather than judge yourself for your wounded stuff.
Avoid
the confrontation leading to ambiguities. These ambiguities
can create the diversion from the actual path, which mislead
the path of achieving targets. This task also includes the avoidance
of uncertainty. Uncertainty avoidance focuses on the level of
tolerance for uncertainty and ambiguity within the society.
This dimension relates not to risky situations, but rather to
unknown or unfamiliar situations. An organization with a strong
uncertainty avoidance culture will have a low tolerance for
uncertainty and ambiguity.
If a
person makes a mistake, forgive him and allow him to prove it.
That person should obtain the benefit of it and should not repeat
the mistake again. Failure is an event, it is not a person.
Yesterday ended last night; today is a brand new day. Developing
a positive attitude adds to our quality of life and spills over
onto our meetings with others, by enhancing their lives as well.
Attitude is all about being resilient in situations of crisis,
failure and being calm in situations of success.
